Friday, 20th of March, that's the date you should put in your agenda because then "Oi!" will celebrate 'Five Years Of Fire', its 5th anniversary. This event will take place at the club where it all started; Paradiso.

Meanwhile "Oi!" has grown from a small venue event to a sold-out main venue! The last edition, during the 'Amsterdam Dance Event' was a huge success, and could be easily named the biggest Dubstep & Grime night in Dutch history. Dubstep, the sound that arose from the London underground with its roots in reggae, jungle, hip-hop, 2-step and filled with deep shattering sub-bass, is now more popular then ever.

"Oi!" has evolved into an organization that does more then raves; recently there was "Oi Pirate Radio" at Lijn5 and 3voor12, and we just started the "Oi! Records" label, with its first release in the fourth quarter of 2008. To make a long story short, "Oi!" still represents the newest U.K sound with Fire!

To celebrate our 5th year anniversary we decided we needed a BIG line-up, starting with 'The Afro-Warrior" himself; DJ and Producer Benga. The man who just released his second album on Tempa; "Diary Of An Afro Warrior" which included the hit-single "Night". Benga is one of the dubstep-pioneers from the very first hour, releasing his first record at the age of 15 (..!) on the well-known label 'Big Apple Records'.

Next up is the bad & heavy DJ/Producer Emalkay. Big, Bad and Heavy are the perfect words to describe the type of music he represents. Also a pioneer from day one, with his big hit "Gut Feeling" and his latest release on Dub Police "Explicit". With the support from the likes of BBC 1's Mary anne Hobbs and N-type, Emalkay is the perfect candidate for this night.

Tes-La-Rok who did an excellent set in 2008, is back to bring us more! Known for his '07 dubstep anthem "Round The World Girls" in collaboration with Uncle Sam. It was this song that ended up in the category 'Best Single' at the dubstepforum.com awards. With a new single coming out on Dub-police and his album in the making, we can't wait to see him rock the main venue!

Croydon based DJ Walsh is known for his collaborations with producers like kromestar & benga. Walsh excels in mixing varieties of dubstep perfectly together, the same could be said over his production style. Walsh released on labels such as: Texture, Hotflush & Terrain.

Gomes a.k.a G-Man, the man behind  everything "Oi!" started his career in the early days of 2-step & garage and progressed along with the UK sound to where it stands today. 5 years ago there weren’t many events who presented his sound, Gomes decided to start his own night at the Paradiso. In these 5 years "Oi!" has become a respectable event in the scene, attracting many big artists over the years.

With his own radio-show "Oi! Pirate Radio" Gomes pushed the sound forwards.

G-man, his production alter-ego, released his records on Oi! records last year, and his next release will

be on the U.K Label Subsonik records.

Accompanied bij DJ Vader, an Oi! regular and label boss of DVS recordings. Initially from the U.K and know there for being the DJ of "Crazy Titch" and "the Mucky Wolf Pack", Vader does his own thing in the Netherland for quite a while know.

Host of the night is MC Drew, known for his radio show on 3FM and Lijn5. Special Guest is MC Vin-e with his official come-back. Vin-e, always MC #1 and an old Oi! regular is back
