Friday 21 March, it’s that time again: in the large room of the Paradiso Amsterdam, Oi! will represent the freshest UK Underground Sounds. Oi! is Amsterdam’s established Dubstep & Grime evening, running now for more than 4 years. Dubstep is now more popular than ever, its sound has been filled with deep sub bass, high energy and influences from reggae, jungle, hip-hop, and 2-step. This time Oi! takes place in the large room, after the huge success of the first edition, held during the Amsterdam dance event, with Skream & DMZ and a room full of dubsteppers. Now it’s time for the second edition with an even sicker line-up; this time Oi! has invited London’s leading radio station Rinse FM and they are bringing with them a big delegation of Rinse Dj's to make your evening. Rinse FM is the largest pirate radio station in London and the Internet and they’ve been instrumental in the growth of the grime and dubstep-scenes in the British capital. With their progressive sounds and DJ’s Rinse FM is light years ahead of the competition.

This time Oi! invited all top dogs from Rinse FM. First up is DJ N-Type, the most popular man on Rinse FM, Best DJ and host of the Best Radio Show, Sub-Sundays (as voted for at the dubstepforum awards). With his Sub-Sundays show this man draws worldwide attention to the dubstep scene, expect a real live Rinse show from the man N-Type.

The next DJ is familiar face in Holland and has already played at Oi! once before. DJ Chef, a big player in the scene with his work at Transition, THE mastering studio of choice for top-boy dubstep producers, Chefal is known for his big bag of new dubs and his delicious selection of tunes. To make the Sub Sunday line-up complete we invited DJ Tubby, the main DJ of the Newham Generals, one of Rinse’s most established acts. Tubby comes together with MC D-Double-E, the man who has been signed to the label of Dizzee Rascal, Dirtee Stank, and is always been a regular guest of Oi!

The next man is also a Rinse FM veteran; DJ Youngsta. Known for his highly technical mixing skills and unrivalled taste, Youngsta mixed Dubstep All-stars Vol II which was released on Tempa Recordings. Youngsta has been playing tunes from the age of 12 and his show on Thursday evening is one of the most listened shows on Rinse FM.

If this line-up is not yet enough we also got big DJ/producer Caspa, fresh from his “Fabric live” mix cd; a release which got a lot of attention and many good reviews. This is an evening which you cannot miss; with the best of the best of the dubstep scene playing music to make you stagger.

The man behind Oi! is DJ Gomes aka G-Man, who started his career in the early days of 2-step & garage and progressed along with the sound to where it stands today, because in the beginning there were no rave’s with the sound of now. Gomes decided 4 years ago to start his own thing in the Paradiso Amsterdam. Oi! Has become a respectable rave in the scene, attracting many big artists over the years. With its own internet radio show “Oi Pirate radio” on Lijn5.com Gomes pushes the sound forward. G-Man is the production alter-ego of Gomes where this year there will be release at the new label Subbalicious
